Justine developed her passion for colour studying Fashion & Textiles at Brighton University. Later she studied Applied Colour Psychology and uses this insight to bring the Colour of the Month to Mix readers. As well as working with influential fashion designers, Justine has worked on branding and interior design projects and for a diverse range of industries such as aviation, leisure, food and healthcare. She is the editor of the Materials Section of Mix magazine and has taken part in some of the world’s most exciting design exhibitions including Heimtextil Frankfurt, 100% Design, Pulse, Slept, Interior Birmingham and Interiors AUE. As a colour expert she has participated in many international conferences. Justine is a panel member for MoOD (Decosit) trend book as well as being the Project Manager for Mix Trend colour forecast book created by Global Color Research.
