King Furniture Charles Wilson Range

Australian Designer Charles Wilson presents a new sofa with King Furniture. To launch this latest piece, King Furniture has worked with the State of Design Festival to produce a mobile exhibition space to display the Charles Wilson sofa.

Each sofa has been designed to be completely modular with arm and back sections slotting into the frame using a unique locking mechanism. In addition, several table designs have been created that fit into the sofa to provide added functionality. Ultimately the range will include beds and bedside tables. King Furniture is renowned for pioneering robust steel frames in their furniture. This significant innovation has cast an important point of difference in the marketplace and is the approach Wilson has adopted here.

Visitors to Design:Made:Trade will be the first see the exhibition before it re-opens at the King Furniture showroom in South Melbourne, reuniting the Charles Wilson Range with the rest of the King Furniture collections.
