Day 3 'An offer of 5 imperatives in design' |
||||
| As designers, students, teachers, administrators, policy makers, and governments confront a future of growing consumer demand for designed artifacts, along with a frightening increase in the environmental, social, and economic consequences of producing, distributing, and using those artifacts, there is an urgent need to reassess what the imperatives and mandates of design truly are. This presentation will examine the state of design through the lens of five imperatives, each focusing on ways to improve design practice and create value (the good kind). | . |
