Bholu rugs are handcrafted by traditional Indian artisans and are made with 100% New Zealand felted wool. The new rug collection is a natural extension of the Bholu textiles and homewares products and philosophy.
Bholu rugs are beautifully textural, rich in colour and made from the highest quality materials. The classic Bholu line is looped and raised to mimic the embroidered thread on the homewares textiles. The lush coloured background is cut pile 100% New Zealand felted wool, which is sculpted by hand to replicate the felt background of the homewares textiles.
The natural simplicity and naivety of the Bholu designs lend themselves perfectly to the canvas of a rug and look just as amazing when hung on a wall as art. Bholu rugs are free spirited in design and would suit any contemporary interior.
