Referencing the human figure underlies Yellow Diva’s creative process; an investigation into wrapped form motivates the collection. The intervention of the human-being imbues the sculptural object with purpose and adds a dynamic component.
Yellow Diva began in London, the collaboration between an English architect and an Australian industrial designer/art director. Both were exploring the sculptural potential of furniture. The resulting series of chairs, stools and chaise lounges reveal a distinct lineage while maintaining the personality of each piece. All embody the spirit of Yellow Diva: tactile, individual, beautiful, comfortable, practical, durable. Now based in Australia, the Melbourne showroom exclusively presents the entire Yellow Diva portfolio in an inspiring variety of colours and textures.
