Convergence @ Yarra Lane

Convergence @ Yarra Lane is a group installation that unites elite Australian design practices responding to the 2009 Festival theme ‘Sampling the Future’.

Designers for Convergence are: James Carey, Julia deVille, Emma van Leest, Leah Heiss & Rosie Scott,  Monash Architecture Design Studio, Moth Design, Nick Rennie, Spatial Research Group, and Laura Woodward.

Their installations will interact, juxtapose, contextualise, and ultimately converge within Yarra Lane, illuminating, sculpting and defining the space and the theme of the night.

Yarra Lane introduces Melbourne's celebrated inner city laneway culture to the new commercial heart of South Yarra.

Developed by Michael L Yates & Co, Yarra Lane will feature a vibrant collection of cafes, restaurants and boutique retailers, linking Chapel Street to South Yarra station. Michael L Yates & Co is a proud sponsor of Convergence @ Yarra Lane.
