Road Trip

A self guided freeway tour investigating the designers’ intent behind ‘freeway architecture’, which has steadily developed in some of Melbourne’s leading design practices over the last decade.

Freeway architecture sits in the nexus between civil engineering, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture and sculpture. Road Trip is an investigation of the differing approaches between design practices and a review of the development of the typology over time.
