EastLink – Urban Design

 

 The need for EastLink, one of Australia’s most ambitious infrastructure projects to date, had been recognised since the late 1980s. The cogs started turning in 2002, when two projects-in-waiting, the Eastern Freeway Extension and the Scoresby Freeway, were amalgamated into one to connect Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs Mitcham and Frankston (and beyond).
